There are various passes you can buy to get around Prague geared towards tourists. However, don’t be in to much of a rush to buy one unless you really hate walking. The historical heart of Prague is relatively small and getting around on foot is the perfect way to ensure you don’t miss anything and to discover the city. Tram tickets are cheap and can be bought from yellow machines by some tram stops and all metro stations. You can also buy tickets from Tabak shops.

Once validated 20Kc tickets are valid for 90 mins. at weekends and 75 mins. during the week. You are able to hop on and off trams and buses during this period.

There is a 14Kc which covers you for 20mins or 5 metro stations.

1 Day Pass – 80Kc for adults 40Kc for children
3 Day Pass – 220Kc for adults and 110 for children
7 Day Pass – 280 for adults 140 for children
Children travel free up to 6 years of age and then half price from 6 to15.
Trams run from 4.30am until 12.00pm
Tubes run from 5.00am until 12.00pm
